Arriving by car
Krippen belongs to Bad Schandau and is situated around 40 km away from the Saxon state capital Dresden. From the highway A4 Chemnitz-Dresden at the interchange Dresden-West, turn onto the A17 towards Pirna. Leave at exit Pirna to the motorway feeder road in direction of Pirna/ Bad Schandau. From Pirna take the B172 to Bad Schandau. Turn right at the Elbe bridge towards Krippen and drive past the train station “Bad Schandau”. Green signs will lead you the way to the Hotel Erbgericht at the centre of Krippen.
Arriving by train
The Saxon state capital Dresden is a rail hub and therefore very well connected to IC and EC-networks. Long distance connections lead from every bigger city to Dresden. You can reach Krippen within 50 minutes from Dresden main station with the S-Bahn or via Bad Schandau with international and national express trains. We will be happy to arrange a taxi picking you up at the train station that will bring you to the hotel within 5 minutes by car.
